The second volume of this series was excellent。 Before starting this manga, it is highly recommended that you read the first volume。 The first volume provides a lot of background information。 Beginning here will be confusing。 This manga was a refreshing take on the Isekai genre with its loveable characters and interesting storyline。

Thank you so much to the author, TokyoPop, and NetGalley for the complimentary ARC!This review contains my honest and unbiased thoughts and opinions。 🌸I'm a bit torn on this one。。。 I enjoyed Volume 1 and couldn't wait to see what happened next but I struggled a little with Volume 2。 What I liked:I really enjoyed getting more background details on a few of the guys。 We discovered more about Eric and what happened that eventually led to Eri。 Plus we got a little of the story from his point of view Thank you so much to the author, TokyoPop, and NetGalley for the complimentary ARC!This review contains my honest and unbiased thoughts and opinions。 🌸I'm a bit torn on this one。。。 I enjoyed Volume 1 and couldn't wait to see what happened next but I struggled a little with Volume 2。 What I liked:I really enjoyed getting more background details on a few of the guys。 We discovered more about Eric and what happened that eventually led to Eri。 Plus we got a little of the story from his point of view, from meeting Mystia and how her kindness helped him。 We also were taken back to a small piece from Volume 1 where Mystia helped a boy in need。 We now know more of his identity and how he fits into the story。 I enjoy having backstories, have more understanding and knowing how everything fits together。And finally, the past is caught up and the story truly begins at school, "present" day and where things really start。 I do feel like the story started picking up at this point and even with all the struggles, by the end I was ready for Volume 3 to see how things continued。What I didn't like/Struggled with:I had the hardest time actually getting into the story/staying focused on the story。 At times, I don't know, it seemed overwhelming? A bit too much going on, too much to try and keep straightened out, too much to remember/figure out/keep in place。Again, I think now that the story is "present" day, things will truly begin and will improve。 I enjoyed the story by the end of the volume and look forward to the next。 。。。more

Everyone is unhinged。 EVERYONE。Mystia, how did you manage to land yourself in such a tangle???Levels of obsession are skyrocketing。 Creepiness is climbing。 Still, am waiting for next volume to pass judgement。

Well, this one took a bad turn towards obsession。。very unhealthy and creepy obsession of the main chara for too many other characters 😅The drawing is still beautiful, though。

Ohhh no, Mystia, my dear, you have not only taken over the heroine's role all unawares, but you've also managed to land smack dab in the middle of a group of highly possessive young men。 A little less obliviousness would probably help you here。And if anyone can explain my apparently insatiable appetite for this subgenre of isekai, I'm all ears。 Ohhh no, Mystia, my dear, you have not only taken over the heroine's role all unawares, but you've also managed to land smack dab in the middle of a group of highly possessive young men。 A little less obliviousness would probably help you here。And if anyone can explain my apparently insatiable appetite for this subgenre of isekai, I'm all ears。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 I liked this one better than the first one, which is making me want to change the first book’s 4 star to a 3, because the male characters were WAAY to obsessive, but it was still not as bad as the first one? Not sure how to describe it, but I’ll try the next one when it is out。 See how it goes。 3, solid I hope the next one is better, stars。

I read the first volume of this manga and like it enough to continue with the story。 The second volume is just as gorgeously illustrated as the first one which makes it enjoyable to view。 This volume introduces us to more characters that fall in love with Mystia。 The story also moves on to the present time where the game starts and it became a lot interesting with how many events are happening differently due to how differently she acted as a child in the game world。 I really like Mystia and her I read the first volume of this manga and like it enough to continue with the story。 The second volume is just as gorgeously illustrated as the first one which makes it enjoyable to view。 This volume introduces us to more characters that fall in love with Mystia。 The story also moves on to the present time where the game starts and it became a lot interesting with how many events are happening differently due to how differently she acted as a child in the game world。 I really like Mystia and her level-headedness。 I find the men in love with her in this manga amusing but I'm not invested in any of them。 I especially don't like how the adult character is acting。 I feel just as tired as our FMC with the way the people around her are behaving。 But I really like the bonus chapter at the end of the volume, I think it's cute and amusing。Thank you NetGalley and Tokyopop for the advance e-ARC! 。。。more

Everything she does just gets glossed over by these would be suitors, which is hilarious considering she doesn’t seem to love any of them and is only aware of the affections of a couple of the many in love with her。 Like I said, hilarious!! I received this book from Netgalley/the publisher in exchange of an honest review。So I was absolutely squeeing in delight when I spotted this one up on Netgalley。 I had to have it! I absolutely loved the first volume when I read it in April last year, so I wanted to see how it continued in this second volume~We dive head-first in the Eric/Eri part, and I had so much fun reading it。 Loved that we first saw things through Mystia, who btw was very confused as things weren’t going as she had thought I received this book from Netgalley/the publisher in exchange of an honest review。So I was absolutely squeeing in delight when I spotted this one up on Netgalley。 I had to have it! I absolutely loved the first volume when I read it in April last year, so I wanted to see how it continued in this second volume~We dive head-first in the Eric/Eri part, and I had so much fun reading it。 Loved that we first saw things through Mystia, who btw was very confused as things weren’t going as she had thought they should have gone。 Eric was different。 Another love interest should have popped in that should have been cause for why things went so horribly wrong。 I did feel for Mystia because of course she is relying on things to be predictable so she can get out of the death flags, but I also had a laugh because of her face and her confusion。 Like wait, what? XD And then we saw things through Eri/Eric’s eyes and I was just delighted as it gave more clarity to the situation and why Eric is so infatuated with her。The next we get a new character, someone named Mr。 Jessie! I was instantly curious, especially given Mystia’s descriptions of him and what his route entailed。 I could see why she was so hesitant。 Either way, I was pretty happy with a new hot character。 Especially as the story continued and we saw more of him… he was just so cute when he blushed and laughed。 I also love that, just like with Eric before him, we get to see how he met Mystia and how things changed。 I am not too sure how I felt about him falling in love with her。 Not at this moment at least。 She is still a kid, and he is an adult。。 Ehl…。I had a laugh when Nocter and Eric met up。 Oh my! battle time between two guys who dearly and desperately want Mystia。 XD I had quite a laugh as the cold atmosphere between the guys just seeped out of the pages。 Poor Mystia, stuck between those two。Ah, and at the end we finally skip ahead a few years to Mystia grown up and starting school! Eep! I absolutely loved those chapters and I loved it especially because all the guys are now grown-up。 I barely recognised Nocter for a moment there。 Whereas most characters grew into their skin and just got a bit more adult, he just changed completely for me。 I loved reading about the school, about the scenarios that may be coming, and then there was something at the end。 Now I definitely want that next volume!I feel for Mystia at times~ I mean, it must be hard to be reincarnated in a game and find out you are destined to be a villain。 She is trying her best to solve the routes and get out of the death ones, the ones with prison, and all the others。 But we see that things are altering as she does little things。 Showing kindness to Eric。 Being helpful to Jessie。 Cooking for Nocter。 They are little things, but they are changing the game and that means that Mystia is very worried。 Because how is she supposed to know if her route is the right one? I just wanted to give her a big hug。 Tell her to enjoy the moments a bit more and less worry。 I get that if she does something wrong it is a big thing, but constantly worrying is also not healthy。The bonus chapter in which we meet the head butler… and get some vague answers on what is going on with the servants。 I am even more curious now about things。 And I am also swooning because the butler is YUM! Sorry, but I just can’t resist a guy with glasses。 XDSorry for the slightly chaotic review, I am just excited and this book was just too good! I had so much fun reading and I loved seeing the characters, read about the game, see Mystia make sense of it all。 And on top of that fantastic art!I would recommend this series so far~Review first posted at https://twirlingbookprincess。com/ 。。。more

This manga was so cute! mystia is stuck in an prone game, but she’s the villain! This was new for me, since I’m used to seeing the good person win。 Yet, seeing this change was good and I think it will make the series more interesting! I enjoyed the whole volume, especially the bonus chapters。 I’m just unsure of who I want to be the love interest, but my opinions on this could change!Thank you NetGalley and Tokyo pop for a digital review copy!

4/5 starsI received an ARC of this manga, and I am voluntarily leaving a review。Mystia Aren is the daughter of a noble family。 However, she still has memories of her past life。 In her old life, there was an otome video game which happens to be the new world Mystia has found herself in。 To make matters worse, she is now the villainess in the game! Mystia is determined not to die like the villainess in the game did, but she is afraid of messing up the overall plot of the game。 As she tries to keep the game on track, she realizes she has a big problem--the love interests keep falling for her anyway! While this volume was enjoyable, I thought it was not quite as good as the first one。 I love this trope and I enjoy watching Mystia as she tries to follow the game's plot, but I had a few issues with this volume。 We get to meet the rest of the love interests in this volume, and we learn some of their backstories。 It truly is similar to the layout of most otome games! I was also glad to see that we are finally caught back up to present day, so I'm expecting the story to take off from here! This series is unique even though the trope is very common! Mystia doesn't want to be the villain, but she's trying to make sure the heroine remains the main character。 As a result, Mystia tries hard to deter the male love interests who seem determined to get close to her。 The storylines continue to shift and change, and Mystia isn't sure what she can and can't do。 Events are happening that aren't in the game, and major events are being altered。 She's concerned not only for herself, but that she'll ruin the happy endings of the love interests。I had three main issues with this volume。 The first is that a lot of the characters came off stalkerish and/or obsessive。 One of them becomes infatuated with Mystia when she's 10 when he himself is 15, and that made me uncomfortable。 My second issue was that this volume felt a bit like filler as it introduced the characters and their backstories。 While I enjoyed meeting them, I couldn't help but hope we got back to present day soon。 Finally, I have no idea what kind of world/time period this takes place in! There are noble families, arranged marriages, horses and carriages, etc。, but there are also toilets, school lockers, and sinks。 It's like the regency era merged with modern-day schools in Japan。 Outside of that, I truly did enjoy this volume! There were some things that happened here that have yet to be explained and I am super curious about their role in Mystia's fate。 Now that we're back to present day, I can't wait to see how the story will turn out!I recommend this to fans of the "reincarnated in an otome game" trope as well as fans of the reverse harem genre! 。。。more

Shoutout to the creator because I did NOT like Eric at the end of volume one。 In fact, I might have *coughs* rolled my eyes *coughs* when I saw that we were getting his backstory in this one。 However, one thing I have learned since reading that chapter is never make assumptions about characters without knowing the WHOLE story。 ;PFor a non-spoiler, I thought he called her mistress previously for a completely different reason。 I realized how I originally interpreted it is VERY different then why he actually calls her mistress。 *hides* Such a very well done backstory and extremely compelling! My whole view of him changed and can say that I found myself faltering almost in my shipping Mystia with Raid。I think the only thing I wasn't super fond of was a new character that we meet。 It's not a romance because of how Mystia acts, but that wasn't true for all parties。 While I have read age-gap romance before, this one seemed more uncomfortable to me simply because of the ages of the two people and how young they are。 It was fun seeing the beginning of the actual game story begin and think the title of this series is spot on! I truly hope that at some point Mystia will really fall in love with one of these men (and hoping it's Raid!) and not just think of her wellbeing and other's wellbeing as a result of her choices。 (Also, dare I say that that one moment was a possible foreshadowing?! Here's to hoping anyway! LOL!)Lastly, I loved the bonus chapter and how much Mystia's household loves her。 LOL!Another excellent volume in this series and already wanting volume three in my hands!
